EDU GOV Backlinks Part2

I always get a ton of questions on how to get EDU and GOV backlinks. In a previous post found on this page I told you how to get Edu and Gov backlinks using a "black hat" method.

Now I am here to show you how to get Edu and Gov backlinks using white hat techniques.

I don't believe that Edu and Gov backlinks carry any more weight than a normal top level domain but some do. Although some Edu and Gov sites tend to be more established and could hold more weight than a under promoted top level domain.

That being said just click on the links below and you will find a few hundred Edu and Gov forums that you can post on. All you have to do is create a signature and add your link to it and start posting.

The only down side to posting in forums is that most of them will use the "nofollow" attribute so you will have to sift through them by looking at the source.

Don't go crazy posting spam or you can expect to see your account banned really quick. Post relevant content and make a real contribution to the thread.
