How about adding a classifieds section?
Maybe something that is related to the directory feild.

It would be nice to be able to check what time it is in different parts of the world and also weather conditions.
Since so many more people see a listing then actually click on it and visit the site how about adding a "# of times seen" stat for sites? This would encourage more listings and be of some small benefit to the older sites listed regardless of how links are sorted.

If you click on the "Read More" link under each submission you will see hit and Alexa stats.
