Spoof Experiment, Did You Notice?
Some of you may have noticed an odd post that was made yesterday. It appeared that Google had put out a press release regarding the current delay of the PageRank update.
Now some of you are smart as a whip and noticed right off the bat that this was a spoof as you should have. There were mistakes that were intentionally left in the photo to "create a buzz" and to see who was paying attention and who was not.
I monitered all the forums and blogs as the post were made regarding the spoof release. Belive it or not there where actually quite a few post made that had everyone thinking this was a real Google release despite the obvious errors.
As the errors were picked up by members I would correct them and add NEW errors. There are still a few errors that have not been found! Now this is where you the webmaster with the eagle eye can put your skills to the test and try to find them.
There are 4 errors left.
Each error is worth one free permanent FEATURED review on www.danielmillions.com directory (95.00 Dollar Value)
Who ever makes the first post in regards to a specific error will get the featured review.
**There are still gramitical and spelling errors these do not count towards the 4 errors that are still unrevealed.
So let's see what you can find!

43 Comments:
It says "Made you look" on the products and tech area to the left column!
This is a error : "nothing of the sort".

Yes REMO you are lucky winner number 1!
Great eye but this was the easiest of the 4 to find :)
No Vinay spelling and grammatical errors do not count as per the thread !
I started to get to lazy to take them out that is why they are still in there.
3 errors are still unrevealed.
Megan Quinn
and email id as megang@google.com
Megan and Megang another possible error. ;)
the telephone number says 65O area code
The small "g" in the google image is back to front. :)
No SUNNY this is not one of the 3 errors that are left!
Yes Just a thought that is the 2cd error to be found!
This is kind of a gramital error but it's the letter O in place of a zero.
Red X on the secure authentication.
diostebendiga @ DP
You can't spell for a god damn - and your misuse of and lack of appropriate apostrophes is atrocious. But grammar and spelling aside...
You are missing a link to Investor Relations, there are no Media Contacts on the right hand side, the search box is missing from the bottom left, there's no copyright info at bottom, and you are missing the little colored balls in the lower left corner. That's an additional five mistakes. If I had more time, I'm sure I could find a few more...
Yes ING you are correct.
The "g" in Google is backwards!
No JEFF you that is not an error.
Still 1 left!
NO MR MAN you are not correct.
Besides being a bit abrasive you must not have read the post. Grammar and grammatical mistakes do not count and WERE intentional.
Ever thing else you posted is also wrong. The page I used as a template will be posted when the last error is found.
The "contacts" should be "Media Contacts"
am i right?
Godmode @DP
No VINAY that is not an error.
The first "PageRank" in the text should be followed by ™ ? :-D
No JAN that is not a page error but thanks for trying.
Still one error left and this one is pretty tough.
"Press Center" on the left hand column is not a link?
No Michael that is a real link.
It's still there.....
the last error is the press release itself. its a fake!
The page title on your image says
"Google Press Center: Press Release"
Google always use
"Google Press Center: News Announcement"
Fastian @ DP
"going to be effected"
Thats wrong.
Correct version:
"going to be affected"
Cheers -saudepp
On your Stumble Toolbar, shouldnt it say Channels ( plural ), rather than Channel ???
Stumble toolbar - Shouldn't it say Channels ( with the s ), rather than just Channel ???
Alex
The only error is you are an idiot and have lost all credability for this rather pathetic attempt at a link bait, and have pissed off alot of webmasters.
Announcement and the date should appear one line up
"News from Google" shouldn't be thick (between strong tags)
Well ... what about the title of the site?
It says "Google Press Center: Press Relea..." on the top of the site. Sorry, I don´t know how this is called in english, I´m german.
However, when I look on Google itself it says
"Google Press Center: News Announcement". And the Screenshot if taken from an Announcement, so why is it called a "Press Release"?
No Sebastian that is not the last error but that is a true statement.
No Fastian that is not an error. I will provide a link to the actual Google page when the last error is found.
No saudepp please read the rules but thanks for trying.
No Alex that is not an error.
No Anonymous that is not an error.
You are just a cry baby and should focus more on the quality of your website rather then worrying about your PageRank.
Serps are want count not a little green bar!
No Julio that is not an error but it was a good try.
No Ray that is not an error.
No julian.wolf that is not an error but it is a good question!
"Finally we get an official release from Google concering the Pagerank update."
concering should be concerning, not that?
No Shabu Anower that does not count as one of the 4 errors. Please read the post to see what errors this contest applies to.
Still 1 left!
Thanks
The link under the Resources section called "News from Google" is bold when it should not be.
Great idea I love it but I don't have a clue what the last error is
