Backlinks
Backlinks are the backbone to any successful online website. An example of a backlink would be when a website owner
places a link to your website on his website. For instance, website owner of www.aaaa.com puts your website link www.bbbb.com
on his website www.aaaa.com. Now you have a backlink from his www.aaaa.com website to your www.bbbb.com website.
There are many ways of going about getting backlinks. You are either going to pay for your backlinks, exchange links or create some type of "link bait".
Paying for Backlinks:
This is my personal choice of creating one way backlinks. When you purchase a one way backlink you know the quality and the
time period that the backlink will be live for.
I would venture to say that 90% of my backlinks come from paid directories. I have acheived up to pr7 or a pagerank 7 solely
from directory link purchases. Directory prices vary and some offer better deals than others. If you do your homework you
will be able to find great yearly payment directories that can offer you a backlink on a good pagerank page.
Link Exchange:
A link exchange would occur when you ask a website owner if he/she would place your link on their website in exchange for you
placing their link on your page. When ever it is possible try to create a three way link exchange as they are not devalued by
Google.
Free Backlinks:
Everyone loves free backlinks including me but the quality of the backlink usually is not that great. There are several ways
to create free backlinks.
a. Submit to free directories, there are hundreds of list of free directories online if you search. The downside to this is
that the approval rate is extremely low and it is very time consuming.
b. Try to find blogs that are related to you niche and post on them leaving a backlink to your website.
c. Join forums that relate to your niche and create a signature that will leave a backlink to your website.
