Appearance - Nice color scheme that is easy on the eyes which includes unique graphics that are well laid out. You won't find any distracting misplaced advertisements or pop ups which many employment search websites have.
Navagation - Navigating Secretarial Careers is quite simple. The main job quick search box is located in the middle of the page above the fold for easy access. The main navigation bar is located directly above the quick search box. Here you will find links to several unique features.
Let's start with the "My Details" link. If you register for an account which is free you can upload your CV and create a Jobseeker Profie. What this means is that employers can search the Secretarial Careers data base for someone that meets his or her criteria and that may be you.
The next link I want to check out is the "Jobs by Email". This is a really cool feature that will alert you when a job that meets your criteria is posted in the data base. All you have to do is fill in the short "Create a Jobs by Email" form which includes some of your job parameters.
Under the "Who's Recruiting" link you will find a search function that lists featured companies that are looking for employees.
The last link to check out is the "Career Advice". Here you will find all kinds of great career advice and tips such as how to write the perfect CV, job interview tips, employment rights and more.
If you look under the "Career Advice" box on the right hand side of the page you will find a neat tool, the Salary Checker. If you click on the link and enter some job details you will find average lowest and average highest pay for the job you looked up.
Directly under the "Career Advice" tab you will find another great unique feature. You can actually listen to career advice tutorials by downloading files to your iPod or Quicktime.
There are currently over 4400 jobs in the data base at the time of creating this video. My over all impression of secretarialcareers.co.uk was one of a well laid out professional job search information resource.
